Be Still; and know that I am God. Psalm 46:10
Saint Theresa’s Prayer
May today there be peace within.
May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received,
and pass on the love that has been given to you.
May you be content knowing you are a child of God.
Let his presence settle into your bones,
and allow your soul the freedom
to sing, dance, praise and love.
It is there for each and every one of us.
Prayer for peace
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much
seek to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understood;
to be loved, as to love;
for it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. – St. Francis Assisi
God grant me the Serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
Courage to change the things I can;
and Wisdom to know the di erence.
Help me to live one day at a time,
Accept hardships as a way to peace,
Take, as Jesus did, this world as it is,
Not as I would have it be;
Trust that you will make all right
if I surrender to your ever loving will,
Be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with you forever in the next. Amen.
